Searching for a genuine, experienced schoolmaster for his 11-year-old daughter. The horse should have proven experience at 1.30m and be suitable for helping a young rider develop confidence, consistency, and correct technique. Rhythm is one of the family’s highest priorities. The ideal horse should maintain a consistent, balanced tempo when approaching fences, allowing the rider to stay in the same rhythm through turns and to the jump. It should be easy to regulate with simple half-halts and small adjustments, without becoming strong, rushing, or losing balance. The horse should have a very soft mouth, similar to the daughter’s current pony, and be comfortable and responsive without requiring strong or complicated riding. It must be brave, gentle, and non-spooky, with a genuine willingness to jump. The horse should be forgiving and supportive at the fences, helping the rider even when the distance is slightly long or short. It must not be prone to refusing. The preferred height is approximately 160–165 cm, and the ideal age range is 9–12 years. Miray is planning to travel to Belgium and the Netherlands to view suitable horses but is open to considering strong options in other European countries. The family hopes to purchase within the next month.
