The key qualities we are looking for are:
A very soft mouth (her pony currently has this).
A consistent single rhythm/tempo when approaching fences, with very easy half-halts and adjustments.
Since she jumps, rhythm is extremely important. The horse should be able to keep the same tempo, make tight turns, and jump the fence from that rhythm.
The horse must not be spooky.
The horse must not refuse jumps and should help the rider, even if the distance is a bit long or short.
Ideally the height should be around 160 cm.
The age range between 10–14 years would be ideal.
