Bridl's team successfully facilitated the sale of Lutz 55 a 2016 gelding with a solid 1.20m show record in Germany to amateur rider Mariana Lozano in Mexico. This smooth, collaborative process spanned three countries, involved multiple trusted sales partners, and reflected Bridl’s core strengths: global coordination, personalized matchmaking, and hands-on support from first call to final contract.
Mariana, an ambitious amateur rider from Mexico, had been searching across Europe for the right equine partner but nothing quite clicked. After her initial European tour didn’t yield a match, a contact of her's Francesca (Bridl’s trusted partner in Mexico) introduced her to our team. That connection kicked off an accelerated search led by Bridl, designed to present strong, well-aligned options that met both her riding goals and her trainer’s standards.
Our process began with a flurry of curated horse options, quickly presented and organized for Mariana’s review. Horses were lined up in Portugal, Germany, and the Czech Republic for her to try all arranged by our network of on-the-ground sales partners. In Germany, she was warmly welcomed by Daria, while Viktorie greeted her in the Czech Republic. Across all locations, trials were smooth, communication was efficient, and the atmosphere was supportive.
Throughout the process, Bridl CEO Marie personally oversaw the plan, checking in daily with Mariana to ensure that each trial day went smoothly, that her needs were met, and that the experience remained positive and stress-free.
Ultimately, Mariana narrowed her choice down to two standout horses including Lutz 55, who she tried in Germany. With his combination of rideability, temperament, and a strong 1.20m foundation under a professional, he proved to be the perfect fit.
Although Mariana handled her own vetting and export logistics, Bridl remained involved at every key point, preparing a clear and fair contract, maintaining oversight, and ensuring all details were in place to finalize the sale. Thanks to excellent collaboration between our internal team, local partners, and the buyer, the entire transaction felt seamless from beginning to end.
Lutz55 now heads to Mexico, where he’ll enjoy a second career with an amateur rider who values both his ability and his personality. We couldn’t be happier with this match and are thrilled to see such a kind, capable horse land in such good hands. From first lead to final handshake, this journey exemplified Bridl’s vision: global reach, human connection, and horses placed with purpose.
We can’t wait to see Lutz and Mariana flourish together in the ring.
