Zara's lineage boasts exceptional showjumping heritage through her grandsires, Stakkato and Zirocco Blue VDL, both renowned for their remarkable achievements and significant contributions to equestrian sport and breeding.

Stakkato (1993–2020) was a Hanoverian stallion celebrated for his extraordinary jumping talent and influence as a sire. His career highlights include becoming the Bundeschampion for five-year-old showjumpers in 1998 with an incredible score of 9.9. The following year, in 1999, he secured the title of Reserve Champion at the Bundeschampionat for six-year-olds. Stakkato continued his success by claiming the title of German Champion in the ladies' division with rider Eva Bitter in both 2003 and 2010. Recognized for his impact on breeding, he was honored as the "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 2007. His legacy lives on through over 76 licensed stallions, 104 state premium mares, and countless offspring competing successfully at S-level showjumping.

On the other side of her pedigree, Zirocco Blue VDL (born 2004), a Dutch Warmblood stallion by Mr. Blue out of a Voltaire mare, has an equally impressive record. With rider Jur Vrieling, Zirocco Blue contributed to a team gold medal victory at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen and achieved an individual fifth-place finish. He also claimed victories in the 2014 World Cup in Oslo and Grand Prix events in Geesteren and Melsomvik. In 2013, Zirocco Blue triumphed in the Grand Prix of Copenhagen and the Nations Cups in Copenhagen and Gijon. After retiring from sport in 2017, Zirocco Blue has left his mark on breeding, producing over 82 offspring competing at the 1.55m to 1.60m levels. Among his most successful progeny is Eddie Blue, who secured a team gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon.

Zara’s direct descent from these two distinguished stallions enhances her potential in both performance and breeding. She has inherited the athleticism, scope, and temperament that have defined her lineage's success in the equestrian arena.
