Storm de Lande

Storm de Lande is a 6-year-old, 164 cm AES mare by Valmy de la Lande, a Grand Prix stallion who competes at 1.60m with Jack Whitaker and carries the blood of Mylord Carthago and Starter, two pillars of modern Selle Français breeding. Valmy’s ISO index of 151 places him among the top 2% of sport horses in France, and Michael Whitaker has called him “the best horse I have ever been on”.

Storm is a quality homebred with a beautiful model, sweet character, and plenty of blood. She’s described as light as a feather to ride, with a soft snaffle mouth, floaty paces, and ample power. Currently jumping 1.20m, she’s brave, careful, and shows clear potential for higher levels.

She’s fit, healthy, and vice-free, enjoys hacking out, and is a pleasure to have in the yard. Storm is now looking for a forever home—whether for sport, leisure, or even eventing, she’s versatile enough to excel in any direction.
