Blood-type 1.40m horse wanted for a tall rider aiming to progress towards Grand Prix level. The horse must be at least 1.70m, have sufficient scope and quality, and be suitable for export outside Europe.

The client is a UAE based show jumping rider who has been riding for approximately six years. He currently competes at 1.20m and has completed one 1.30m class. His long-term goal is to compete in Grand Prix classes, and he is therefore looking for horses with enough blood, scope, power and quality to support his progression. The rider is approximately 1.93m tall, so the horse must ideally measure at least 1.70m and have enough size, frame and strength to suit him physically. He would ideally like to purchase two horses, with a budget of up to €120,000 per horse. However, he would consider investing up to €300,000 in one exceptional top horse. The horses will need to be exported outside Europe. The client expects to receive his travel passport within approximately one month and plans to travel to Europe for trials at the beginning of September.

Must have

  • Blood-type show jumping horse
  • Currently competing at approximately 1.40m or showing clear potential for this level
  • Minimum height of approximately 1.70m
  • Enough size, frame and power for a 1.93m rider
  • Scope and potential to progress towards Grand Prix classes
  • Suitable for export outside Europe

Nice to have

  • Proven results at 1.40m or above
  • Potential to progress to 1.45m–1.50m level
  • Competitive and careful in the ring
  • Rideable enough for a rider currently competing at 1.20m–1.30m
  • Possibility of finding two complementary horses from the same region or stable

Deal breakers

  • Horses significantly under 1.70m
  • Horses without sufficient scope for higher-level classes
  • Heavy or slow horses lacking blood
  • Horses that are too difficult or technical for the rider’s current experience
  • Horses that cannot be exported outside Europe
  • Horses priced above budget without exceptional quality or proven results
"We are looking for genuinely high-quality horses with the ability and potential to progress towards Grand Prix level. The horses must suit a tall rider and have enough blood, scope and power without being unnecessarily difficult."
