She is looking for a proven schoolmaster-type horse that can help her continue progressing confidently and competitively at 1.45m and 1.50m level. The ideal horse is 9 or 10 years old, although an 11-year-old would be considered if it is the right horse. The broader age range is 8 to 12 years old, but horses outside the preferred range would need to be exceptional. She prefers blood horses with an uphill build and way of going. She would ideally like a mare, although another gender may be considered if the horse meets all the important performance, rideability and veterinary requirements. The horse should have solid and recent experience at 1.45m to 1.50m level and be suitable for a young rider competing at this level. The veterinary examination must be of an exceptionally high standard. The budget is up to €350,000, and the search is open across Europe.
